VISIT THE WUNDERKAMMER 2026 POP-UP EXHIBITION

Alongside a lineup of alternative music acts from Croatia and abroad, including Vitamin X, ABOP, Analena, and Coltaine, Rojc Open Air Festival also places great importance on showcasing other forms of artistic expression.

In collaboration with the SUR organization, the festival presents the “Wunderkammer 2026” pop-up exhibition featuring works by artists Nadan Sarvan, Luka Vučetić, and Josip Sušac. The exhibition will be on display at the Rojc Living Room (Dnevni boravak Rojca) throughout the festival, on 10 and 11 July. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a selection of drawings, prints, and illustrations, including album covers and concert posters from the artists' extensive portfolios, all deeply inspired by tattoo culture.

Work Rooted in the Culture of Body Art

Nadan Sarvan, who works under the artistic name LGNJ Graphics, graduated in Landscape Architecture in 2016 before finding his creative path in tattooing and illustration. He has participated in both solo and group exhibitions throughout Croatia. By combining traditional and digital techniques, he creates atmospheric, and at times hallucinatory, visual worlds. Inspired by local folklore and legends, the Middle Ages, and unusual stories, Sarvan explores what lies just beyond the boundaries of everyday reality. He currently lives and works in Pula, where he runs his own tattoo studio, CDM.

Luka Vučetić, better known as Greentavac, has been tattooing since 2014. Beyond working on skin, he frequently translates his motifs into drawings, prints, and the occasional canvas, filling them with expressive faces, monstrous figures, and demons. His primary sources of inspiration include medieval bestiaries, the Flemish Renaissance, and fleeting scenes from everyday life, all of which are transformed into new, often surreal compositions. His distinctive tattoo style merges these influences into a recognizable visual language defined by distorted faces, bold outlines, and vivid colours.

Although his works depict frightening and grotesque imagery, they are highly stylized and often infused with humour and playfulness. This contrast evokes a sense of mischievous unease and subtle madness, making his artistic language both distinctive and instantly recognizable.

Josip Sušac, better known by his artistic name Cao Oac, graduated in Painting from the School of Applied Arts and Design (ŠPUD) in Zagreb. He has been tattooing since 2013, drawing inspiration from comics, Japanese art and design, the neo-traditional tattoo movement, late nineteenth-century art, and a wide range of genres and subgenres within the alternative music scene. He has exhibited extensively in both solo and group exhibitions in Zagreb and frequently collaborates with bands on their visual identities, album artwork, and logos. His additional creative interests include lettering, mixed-media art, and graffiti. He currently works at Ondori Tattoo Studio in Zagreb.
